We believe jewellery is not an accessory. It is a record of a life: a promise made, a milestone reached, a name passed down.

So we make every piece as though it will be worn for a hundred years, because it should be.

The Name and the Emblem

AUREA, from the Latin for golden

Our emblem is the letter A drawn in antique gold, holding a single diamond at its heart.

The Atelier and the Craftsmen

Surat, the Diamond City

Our atelier is in Surat, the city where most of the world’s diamonds are cut and polished. Here the craft is not a trade learned late but a language grown up with: cutters, setters and goldsmiths working within a few streets of one another, generation after generation. It is why we make here, at our own bench, and nowhere else.
